private Equity in Healthcare
April 27-28, 2023
Washington, DC
ABOUT THE EVENT
The UNC Center for the Business of Health (CBOH) and the Institute for Private Capital (IPC), two entities affiliated with the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School, are co-hosting a new research symposium exploring the impacts of private equity on the healthcare industry.
Academic, industry, and policy experts will convene to tackle this complex, and often contentious topic. The goal of the event is to bring experts and leading thinkers together to start a conversation that informs, enriches, and generates new knowledge that can improve practice in the healthcare industry. The panels will operate under Chatham House Rule in order to encourage thoughtful and objective insights and dialogue.
Following the symposium, UNC CBOH and IPC will produce a publication highlighting and analyzing the findings and discussions. The hope is that this inaugural symposium will illustrate the need for continued research, conversations, and collaborations.
